Label TextMadeline worked for J.B.’s Restaurant on Richmond Row from 1983-1988. She started as a daytime cashier and then moved to the office. From here, she worked for London and Midland/Avco. JB’s was a good stepping stone for her back into employment after she left work in 1972 to raise her children. Madeline played baseball circa 1984-86 for JB’s. The team played at Doidge Park. Their team was named after the restaurant and they played teams from Barneys, the Ceeps, and probably Kelsey’s.
