Label TextThis is a 2020 Ontario Summer Games silver medal. The Ontario Summer Games were established in 1970 Etobicoke for amateur sport and is now the largest multi-sport event for both teams and individuals, aged 12 to 18 years. The games take every two years and the locations are chosen through a bidding process. London hosted the games in 1975, 1996, 2004, and 2018. The city was slated to host again in 2020 but then the COVID-19 pandemic intervened, necessitating the postponement of the event. Organizers planned to hold the games in the summer of 2021 but, again, the pandemic intervened. London will next host the games in 2024.
