Label TextThis bassinette has a long history as a family heirloom. Oliver and Iva Burgess purchased this bassinette for the birth of their first child in 1904, and it was used subsequently by four generations of the extended Burgess family. Its base was reinforced in the 1940s and shelving was added in the late 1960s. The fourth generation used it until 2000.
