Label TextMilliner Stuart Kent Harper made this cap with netting 1940s or 1950s. Born in Malahide Township, Ontario, in 1907, Harper worked in New York before the Second World War (1939-1945). He came to London around 1950, working here until 1970. His shop was on the southeast corner of Dufferin and Adelaide Streets. Harper was known for his custom, inventive creations that were made with great attention to detail.
