Label TextLieutenant-Colonel Edwin Seaborn (1872-1951) used this sewing kit. From 1916, Dr. Seaborn commanded the No. 10 “University of Western Ontario” Stationary Hospital during the First World War (1914-1918). By December 1917, the unit was operating a 400-bed hospital in Calais, France, and by war’s end, it had cared for over 16,000 patients.
