The iron "makes quick, thorough work of any ironing job. Eliminates sprinkling, irons the sheerest fabrics without danger of burning or scorching. Renews nap of velvet by steaming. Presses suits without cloth. Automatically controlled thermostat eliminates possibility of overheating. Can also be used as a straight electric iron. Heatproof plastic handle and filler cap. Streamlined handle with built in thumb rest. New safety release valve. Hammered finish, non-corrosive aluminum shell. Chrome plated gray iron sole plate, will not dent or scratch. New design heel rest. Complete with approved cord and plug, funnel, and full directions."
