Label TextThis air-to-surface shell was found buried in a creek behind the Canadian Pacific Railway (C.P.R.) tracks on Wellington Street in 1962. Markings reveal that it was manufactured at the Sunshine Waterloo Company plant in Waterloo, Ontario. The Sunshine Waterloo Company mainly manufactured agricultural equipment, but like many businesses, began manufacturing products to aid in the Second World War. They made ammunition, bombs, landmines, and parts for tanks and airplanes.
