Label TextDaniel S. Perrin established his business in the early 1860s to manufacture gingersnaps and soda crackers as well as hard candy. The company grew, eventually shipping products to national and international markets. In 1926, the McCormick’s Manufacturing Company purchased D. S. Perrin and Company. Together, they became the Canada Biscuit Company. After changing hands multiple times, the factory closed in 2006.
