Wingham’s CKNX station moved into this building, the former high school, in 1955. When a fire and explosion destroyed it in 1962, owners built a new facility on the site. Since Gleason took this photograph, Wingham has only expanded east by one street. You don’t have far to look to see a similar expanse of fields.
