Label Text401 at Wellington/Star Top Drive-In 1956 South View (or Looking South) The cloverleaf interchange and 401 overpass at Wellington Road were Gleason’s focus in this photograph. But he also captured the Star Top Drive-in (top, right). Opened in 1950, and renamed the 401 Drive-in in 1960, it closed in 1987. Today, Costco stands on the site. The interchange and overpass have changed, as well. When workers widened the 401 in 2008, they reconfigured the interchange and replaced the overpass.
