Label TextGarnet Shaw, one of the founders of the London Ski Club in 1949, owned these skis. They were made by the Peterborough Canoe Company. Many of the London Ski Club’s members were veterans of the Second World War (1939-1945) who had learned to ski overseas. Home again, they wanted to continue the sport. They purchased property near Boler Road and turned it into trails and slopes. Today Boler Mountain is a popular destination all year round.
