Label TextThis is the George White & Sons factory that was located at 73 King Street. English immigrant George White (1834-1913) established a machine works in London in 1857. In the late 1870s, he began to produce steam engines. By the 1880s, White had the capacity to meet the new demand for steam-driven threshing machines. With the railroad, he opened a branch in Manitoba.
