Label TextGreene, Swift manufactured men's and boys' clothing from 1900 until the early 1930's. The company also produced the uniforms for the London Fire Department during the 1920's. Greene, Swift also set up a system to use the exhaust steam from their boilers to heat other buildings in London's downtown core. This part of the business became the Cities Heating Company about 1927 and operated out of 123 Queens Ave.
