Label TextEdith (surname unknown but possibly Coombs, Platt or Turville) used this kit to repair runs in hosiery when she worked at the Supersilk Hosiery Mill. That business was established in London in 1925, first at the corner of Pall Mall and Richmond. In 1927, it relocated to 660 Richmond St. and in 1930 to the south side of Florence St. It added an addition to the building on Florence in 1929 and later employed 200 people, many of them women.
