Label TextStarting in 1948, Meyer Epstein ran his fine furs store at 234 Dundas Street for 40 years. He sold the business in 1987 to Don McBrearty. In 2001 McBrearty rebranded it as “Meyer’s, The Coat Store”, when he decided to diversify into cloth and leather coats alongside the fine furs. McBrearty ran the store until it closed in 2018. Both iterations of the business operated for 70 years in the same Dundas location.
