Label TextLondoner Charles Isard received this sliver-plated (?) box as a 70th birthday gift. It is engraved with signatures of about 40 of London’s business leaders of the time. Charles Edward Isard (1902-1973) was an investment dealer in his own firm, Isard, Robertson & Co., established in 1926. He was well-connected in London and the region, participating in various organizations around town and beyond.
