Label TextFrederick George Tipple was born in Humbermouth, Newfoundland, on November 14, 1924. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War (1939-1945). In 1959, Tipple moved to London, living at 18 Farm Manor Court (Oakridge) until he was in his late 80's. He then spent a few years in Grand Bend but returned to London to Richmond Woods retirement home in his 90's. He spent the last 6 months of his life in the Veteran's wing of Parkwood hospital. Tipple passed away on September 14, 2019, just two months shy of his 95th birthday.
