Label TextHotel London opened at the corner of Dundas and Wellington in 1927. Initially having 200 rooms, demand soon led to the addition of 100 more rooms. The hotel also housed a number of well-known local hotspots like the Shamrock Room, Camelot Lounge, and Westend Lounge. London's Joe McManus bought the hotel in 1962. It was demolished in 1972 and the location is now home to the City Centre towers.
