Label TextOntario Hospital, Woodstock 1958 Northeast View (or Looking northeast) The Ontario government opened the Ontario Hospital facility as the Hospital for Epileptics, in 1905. The site’s first five buildings (bottom) were built in the Queen Anne style. More utilitarian buildings came later, including the North Park building (back), still under construction. The complex closed in 1997. Workers demolished all but one of the buildings in 1999 to make way for a housing development.
