The site was once the home of a McClary Manufacturing Company factory. Today the location, and much of the block to the north, is Citi Plaza. Other well-known buildings in this photograph include the tall, art deco Dominion Public Building (back, left), the Huron & Erie building (back, right), and Novack’s (middle, left).
