Label TextGoderich Harbour, Ontario, Looking East Around 1963 Sifto Salt Mine’s (bottom, middle) small above-ground facility is deceiving. Beneath Lake Huron is the largest salt mine in the world. The Menesetung Bridge (middle, left) spans the Maitland River. Once a railway bridge carrying goods and people between Goderich and Guelph, today this heritage structure carries pedestrians. Goderich harbour’s grain elevators (right and middle) still stand today.
