Label TextMarket Square, Looking Northeast Around 1957 In 1956, workers built the combined market and parking garage (middle) to replace the old Covent Garden Market building. Its owners later added two more levels of parking. Today, yet another market building stands on this spot. Other changes happened nearby. The biggest was the 1991 destruction of the buildings bordering King and Talbot streets (bottom, left). Today, Budweiser Gardens has taken their place.
