Label TextWestminster Hospital was founded in 1918 as a military hospital, treating veterans suffering from mental illness after the First World War. The hospital eventually amalgamated with LHSC and the Victoria Hospital location on Commissioners Road. The hospital would treat veterans until 1980, when they moved veteran care to Parkwood Hospital.
