Label TextCesare Gnecchi-Ruscone (born ca. 1924) received the medals upon his baptism in the church of San Fedele, Milan, Italy. Gnecchi-Ruscone left Italy for Uruguay in 1955 and then came to Canada in 1963. After living in Toronto, Halifax, St. John’s, and Ottawa, in 1990 he and his wife, Norma (1930-2011), moved to London to be near her daughter.
