Label TextThese two circa 1886 drawings depict Samuel and Ann Peters. The Peters emigrated from England around 1835, settling in London where Samuel was a successful land surveyor. In 1853, Samuel (1789-1864) and Ann Peters (d. 1887) built their home, Grosvenor Lodge, on 500 acres of land purchased from George Goodhue.
