Label TextHere you see London’s Carling's Brewery and Malting Company, situated west of Talbot Street, circa 1880. Thomas Carling established the family brewery in 1843. Sons William and John built the facility pictured here in 1875 and rebuilt it following an 1879 fire. E. P. Taylor purchased the Carling Brewery in 1930 as he created the Brewing Corporation of Canada. Carling Brewery closed in 1936.
