Label TextThe Cairncross and Lawrence sign hung outside of James Arthur Cairncross and Lindsay Tyler Lawrence’s pharmacy at 256 Dundas Street. They opened this first store in 1886 and then later moved to a larger store at the northwest corner of Dundas and Clarence. The business remained in the Cairncross family through four generations, later expanding to six locations across London.
