Label TextThis date stone was once installed at the Hyman Tannery. The structure was Hyman's second site when it opened. After an explosion destroyed the older facitily in 1873, the business operated out of the 1867 building. It stood on the west side of Richmond Street between Mill Street and the CPR train tracks.
