Label TextThe textile portions of this child’s rocking chair are carpet remnants. It made for a durable, comfortable chair and was a great way to reuse and recycle something that might otherwise have been thrown out. If you look closely at this piece, you’ll see someone spent a lot of time crafting the chair’s wood frame. It features arm rests shaped at the ends, decorative finials on the top of the backrest supports, and turned or carved spindles within the base of the backrest.
