Label TextLondon children who attended Sunday School at the First Congregational Church, later renamed Beecher United Church, sat in this chair with a wood veneer seat. The First Congregational Church opened in 1876. After it closed as a church in 1947, the building became London’s first Aeolian Hall. All but the tower was destroyed in a 1968 fire. Now called the “London Tower,” it is a heritage property.
