The Armouries (bottom, middle), with its crenellated towers, opened in 1905. In 1988, developers repurposed the building into a hotel, preserving its unique exterior. Today, none of the other buildings on the block bordered by Dundas on the north, Waterloo on the east, King on the south, and Wellington on the west remain. It is now home to office towers and hotels.
